Naomi Shihab Nye visits USU
Naomi Shihab Nye as part of the Swenson Writers Series

As part of the Swenson Writers Series, Naoimi Shihab Nye will read her poetry during her visit to USU. Nye was born to a Palestinian refugee father and an American mother- spending her adolescence both in San Antonio, Texas and Jerusalem. Her diverse cultural background influences much of Nye's work as she often writes about everyday life while addressing cultural issues.

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 20
in Library room 101.

Join Nye for a Poetry reading at 12:30 pm, followed by a Master Class at 3:30pm.

The event is free and open to the public. All are invited!
