Avery Edenfield Hosts NASCO Workshop
Avery Edenfield has been accepted to host a workshop for the North American Students of Cooperation (NASCO) 2017 Cooperative Education & Training Institute in Ann Arbor, MI, this November. This workshop is titled “Words Matter: How Paying Attention to Documents Can Make Cooperatives Stronger." Attendees will learn about the importance of paying close attention to their writing practices and strategies for ensuring those practices are democratic, transparent, and inclusive. Travel for this workshop is partially funded by a CHaSS Travel Grant.
Since 1977, NASCO's Cooperative Education & Training Institute has been widely recognized as one of the most important training and networking opportunities available to members, directors, staff and managers of group-equity cooperatives. Avery is excited to share her research with a group of co-op educators and practitioners!
