Citizen Scholar Conference
Each semester, Voices of USU invites English 2010 students to present at the Citizen Scholar Conference (CSC).
CSC, like other academic conferences, offers students the opportunity to present innovative and creative ideas with a specific audience in mind. Our goal is to celebrate the writing, thinking, and scholarship done in English 2010 classes.
English 2010 students may submit an abstract for either a poster presentation or an oral presentation on any project they work on in English 2010. Presentations may be research-based, persuasive, or creative.
Spring 2020 Dates
March 16 - April 3: Call for abstracts
During the call for abstracts, you may submit a 100-250 word summary of a project you have already completed or plan on completing in English 2010.
April 7: Sessions announced
April 9: Presenter information sessions
Presenters will attend an interactive information session (1 hour maximum). During the session, presenters will receive logistical information, such as presentation times, rooms, and location of the Eccles Conference Center. They will also receive information about what to do during their presentation and visuals involved. Presenters may also check out additional information on the presenter resources page.
